In 2009, the Lahaina Shores is undergoing extensive exterior renovations.  The work being done at the swimming pool and restrooms will consists of making the restrooms ADA compliant while updating current facilities.  During the pool closure, no guest will be allowed on the pool/jacuzzi deck.  For safety reasons, the entire deck area will be closed off except for a walkway to the beach.  Guesta are able to sun bathe on the lawn with the existing lawn chairs, or enjoy sun bathing on the beautiful beach. 

The pool closure has recently been rescheduled for 9-25-09 to 12-21-09.  The renovation work will break for Christmas and New Years from 12-18-09 to 1-4-09.  Hours of renovation are Monday to Friday with intermittent Saturdays.  Although the work being done includes hammering and sanding, we have been advised that the disruptions to guests staying in adjacent units are minimal.
