Centrally located to all of Maui's activities, the Island Sands Resort offers convenience and value.  This secluded resort overlooks scenic Maalaea Bay on the West side of Maui.

You can choose between one and two bedroom condos.  All condos offer fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, cable TV, high speed internet access (fee), and in-room washer/dryers.  All condos have private lanais which overlook Maalaea Bay and the Pacific Ocean beyond.  There are 84 condos covering six floors on this property all serviced by elevators.

The property features and ocean front pool and BBQ areas.  During the winter months, this is an excellent property to watch the wales play.  Parking is free.

This property is located only 8 miles from Kahului Airport and is a short drive south of the old whaling town Lahaina which makes it an excellent jumping off spot for shopping, activities, and golf.

The Island Sands Resort will perform a renovation of their waste water treatment plant this year.  The project will be completed between 5/3/10 through 6/14/10.  All work will be performed Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.  The work list and schedule is as follows:

• In preparation of the work, the hedges will be cut, a construction fence erected and a solid blind placed on the pool-side of the property.


• During this project, a tanker truck will be parked in the car-washing area to receive waste water and some parking slots may be inaccessible.
